Drop in for a quick bite

Dropped in this morning to The Deep Blue Cafe for a quick bite to eat for a sister to sister chat and this magically appeared.

Basic scrambled eggs (but seriously could be the yummiest in the south of adelaide) and bacon on ciabatta bread.

Service from the doppelgänger of Kate Cebrano is always a treat. You always feel look very welcome.

Then there was this bacon and egg BUN! So filling, and not normally something we would order or breakfast. But boy oh boy was it filling. Cooked well, on a super fresh bun.

Kate ceberano playing in the back ground made for a good morning catch up.

Chocolate, more chocolate & pink sweet treats… can’t go wrong!

If you haven’t discovered heaven on a plate yet, your not going to the right places!

This is Steven Ter Horst Chocolatier on Rundle Street in Adelaide City

with beautiful interior design, that’s been kept simple with slick black lines and black boards. The wooden table tops, polished cement floors and black industrial stools make this cafe/chocolate shop stand out from all the rest on rundle street.

Everything is perfect, including the blocks of delicious chocolate. My favourite – dark chocolate with sour cherry and pistachios. totally Yumalicious!

There aint no other FRENCH TOAST like it!

So some people love a sweet breakfast, and others love the traditional bacon and eggs – MATT being MATT, loves everything followed by dessert. YEP even breakky! but we need to point out that no one else does a french toast that even compares to this one… where’s it from i hear you say?

its none other than The Pantry on Egmont.

frenchtoast

seriously how scrumptious does this look? well you wait until you go and try it for your self. it is so far hands down one of the top 3 if not possibly the best french toast in adelaide. There – i said it! you need to get on it guys, and try it for your self.

not only would Matt have dessert, he also managed to squeeze this traditional breakfast in too –

Smashed Avocado with poached eggs

break

of course he is not always a coffee “goo-roo” and proffers a juice or milk shake so here is his in between course –

Taste of the Himalayas – Brighton

Not every one would know this place is here, it would probably go un-noticed being a small place on a busy street. Unless you lived in the area, or were passing here frequently. It certainly shouldnt go un-noticed considering the food is great, and the value even better.

Here are a few dishes from our last visit:
